Hey There!

My name is Ariana Avila, but I prefer going by Ari! My pronouns are she/her/hers. I am currently pursing my BFA in Musical Theatre at Greensboro College located in Greensboro, North Carolina!

When I was a toddler, my parents could not get me to stop dancing! So they enrolled me in dance classes. My mom wanted my brother and I to stay busy, so she would sign us up for other activities as well: swim, basketball (oh goodness... THAT was a train wreck), and eventually community theatre! As I got older, my passion and love for Dance and Theatre grew!

Expression is something that is very important to me, and I am so appreciative that the Performing Arts have taught me how to communicate through singing, dancing, and my choreography!

I have always enjoyed being able to create, so when I'm not on the stage, I'm usually crafting: painting, embroidering, doodling- Im currently working on a scarf!

I love spending time with my family (love you!), friends and especially my cat, Miso Soup! I also enjoy a good donut and can tell any soda apart just by smell (what can I say, I grew up in a restaurant)!

I am a proud Salva-Mexi-Merican  (Salvadorian, Mexican-American), and even though being Latina is a huge part of my identity, I love learning about different cultures and traveling (Iceland has been my favorite so far)!
